How to read this story
A choice, a response, and what changed
Power ratings show how players influenced other people in the game. They are not odds of winning. Staying in the game does not by itself raise a rating. Winning Head of Household (HOH) can raise a player’s score while they can nominate people. That boost ends when their HOH reign ends.
Power across the game
What changed—and what did not
These are key moments, not scores for every episode. Each of the six kinds of Power gets a rating from 1 to 4, for a maximum Total Power Score of 24. The score shows a pattern, not an exact amount of influence or a guarantee of safety.

She won HOH
Winning HOH let her choose nominees and offer protection. Her score rose.

Nominations had a cost
She gained power over nominations, but her Referent Power rating for trust and loyalty fell from 3 to 2.

Her final week
Her HOH power ended in Episode 19. A later veto saved her once, but did not give her lasting influence.
Episodes 3, 16, 17
HOH gave her control and cost her trust

LaTrice built early ties with Taylor and Rome. When she won the Wall HOH, Taylor helped move her target away from Devens and toward Haley. LaTrice and Devens agreed not to nominate each other. She then put Haley, Chuk and Barrett up. Chuk challenged her decision, but she kept it. Her Total Power Score reached 16 while she could choose nominees. Yet her Referent Power—the influence that comes from trust and connection—fell from 3 to 2. She had more control that week, but less trust.
Episode 19
Returning players heard about a plan to target them

Drew and Barrett told Dee, Devens and Angela that LaTrice, Taylor and Yash had discussed targeting returning players. Dee, Devens and Angela then discussed different targets and possible votes. The leak affected their plans, but it does not explain every later vote against LaTrice. Her score fell from 16 to 9 because her HOH reign ended, not because the leak itself lowered her rating.
Episodes 23, 24, 26
She saved herself once

LaTrice agreed with Dee’s reasons to target Drew, but Dee still nominated her alongside Drew and Taylor. LaTrice won the veto and took herself off the block. Drew won the next HOH and nominated her again, with Taylor and Yash. Yash saved himself, and Devens went on the block in his place. LaTrice and Yash briefly got Barrett to consider keeping her over Taylor, but that support did not hold. A veto could save her for one round. It could not make the next HOH or the voters protect her.
Episode 27
Devens agreed and then voted her out

LaTrice and Devens made a clear deal: whichever one won safety would vote to keep the other. They renewed it the next morning. Devens won the Blockbuster, then voted to evict her. Angela and Melody did vote to save LaTrice, but Dee, Barrett and Yash joined Devens against her. LaTrice was evicted over Taylor, 4–2. Earlier talk of saving her did not turn into enough votes.

What LaTrice’s season shows
LaTrice had allies, made deals and won competitions. Her final Total Power Score of 9 does not erase any of that. Her game shows the difference between winning safety for one round and having people vote to keep you later. Angela and Melody voted to keep her. Devens had promised to do the same, but voted her out.
Which hurt LaTrice more: earlier lost trust, or the promises that failed in her last week?

The game record behind the story
The Episode links in this story lead to RPM’s episode reports and their sources. Episode numbers follow RPM’s game sequence, which sometimes differs from CBS’s broadcast numbering. Some early ratings were assigned later by reviewing the game record, rather than during the season. This is a look back at the season, not a prediction. No later interview changes the earlier ratings.
The plan against returning players mattered, but it does not prove LaTrice made one fatal mistake. Devens’s Blockbuster win removed another possible eviction target. The live feeds were off during the final hours, so we cannot explain every vote change. This story follows LaTrice through Episode 27, when she was evicted.
